Don't worry Andy the only weight weenie thing about me is my membership to the bike forum. I'm definitely not racing up those welsh mountains!

The missus is already on notice that next year is the the year of my grand cycling adventure so you can count me in. (Let's keep any talk of chalet girls amongst us though )

This year the Wales trip lands on the same weekend as a family wedding I'm gratefully avoiding, so any happy coincidences like that would also be a big bonus! ^_^

I must admit Tommy, I really enjoyed Tenerife mainly because I didn't feel I needed to keep up. It was tough but not knackering. Once you accept the lighter riders will just ride away its a relief

Andy, At our advancing age there will always be lighter faster riders anxious to get away and stay in front in case we show them up so they are the ones who end up knackered. Of course, Tommy is younger and probably getting lighter...just saying^_^

I have no doubt it's not as slick an operation as say the Delgado's but having used Angus last year I can say he is a lovely guy who does all he can to make your time as stress free as possible. His love of cycling and it's history is infectious. If work wasn't so messy and time consuming at the moment I would be finding the money somehow to join him for some of the classics. I particularly like fact we fly out with hand luggage while he drives carrying our bikes and main luggage and spare wheels etc. He then meets us at Nice, we drive a bit of the way to our accommodation eat a picnic and then cycle the rest of the way. Very tempted by his place in the dordogne as well.

Hi Brighty. This is the right place, but the cyclechat 100 climbs is not an active league anymore and I don't believe there are any plans to resurrect it again. You can however join our cyclechat chaingang race leagues and cyclechat handicap race leagues. If you're interested in these please request to join from the bkool website and then post here again to let us know. Thanks.
