Same to you, thanks Marty. You pushed me to go much harder than I'd intended to.

I did a really nice PAC social ride on Zwift tonight. Over 200 riders. Pace about 2.5w/kg so hardly broke a sweat so a great recovery ride at an average 37kph. I used discord and listened to and tried to join in with the banter of a group mainly comprising sweepers. So I got to listen to them keeping an eye on those that got dropped and then taking turns to ride with them back to the group. It's pretty impressive watching an online ride dynamic work in such a positive way and finally being part of a huge group that finishes the ride together topped off with a sprint up the volcano.

That sounds really nice Bob^_^.
Bkool :cycle:really does lack the Group Hugz :hugs:and bonding:smooch: that you get in Zwift:girldance:, not to mention the sound of birds singing as if to emphasize that its not a race:angel:. Maybe I need to do something with the Chaingang scoring system where you get some time taken off for going back to help a slower/struggling rider:highfive:. And of course I'll add time on to the ones who are just out to selfishly:evil: get the quickest time possible to win the race:cycle: (Bridgy:tongue:).

Not only have you turned to the darkside, you've also gone soft! Even I know it's always a race. I may always come last, but it's always a race!!! Come on Bob, man up  Next time you're on one of these gentle saunters on Zwift, speed off the line and blow those buggers away - teach them a valuable lesson

Man up!! Ha!! Cheeky bugger ^_^

Racing :bicycle:at the weekend Whorty and will post in the splitters thread about how it goes. Seeing as my post has so affronted yours and Bills competitive natures I hope to do good and be able to describe an effort the equivalent of Pantani besting that self confessed dick Armstrong on Ventoux :okay:

Not racing? :tired:
That's what you get in zwift. Goes against my religion in bkool though. If you're not half killing yourself it's not a proper workout...

Actually, Pantani was the only cyclist I ever saw crashing whilst going up hill.. as memory serves, he was meandering up some hill which was beyond categorisation with a group of other slightly high riders, when all of a sudden off he went... so, cycling away at some stupid rate as if 12% wasn't a problem, he rounded a corner and whilst looking back over his shoulder.. BOOM.. Crashed into an overhang on the right side of the road..

Dusted himself off.. straightened his head hanky and sped off...

You get any type of ride in Zwift. Have a read of Jlaw and Andy"s posts on the splitters thread:smile:

There is something for everyone in Zwift, leagues, races with power categories, audio, women's rides. I look like I'm a Cat C rider, Bill,AAAC, Daddy pig(once he's out of the blood bath) Bridgy, Tommy are definitely B maybe even A. Tommy would have to be in the nursery group, he's just a nipper:biggrin: Riders are also sub divided within age groups as well,

It would be great to create a cyclechat team to join in the races, there are regularly 50 or more on any event. Pitch yourself against the rest of the world. ^_^
