Quick query. I have access to 2 bkool accounts so I'm all set for my 'Engagement/Red Nose Day Event'. However I'd like to setup a third spectator screen via a laptop and projector.

Does the trial period allow spectating? I could use my works mail as a sign in but not if I can't watch as a spectator.

Not sure if this helps:
As a spectator I think all you can do is watch!

I won't make the 5 pm chaingang but will probably try and do a session at lunch time.

My new unit seems to be on par on the flat parts, but still reads too low on things > 0 %. I found that it was wery difficult to do a seriuos ride in this thursdays chaingang, as those 1-5% were like hitting a wall. I found my self doing more gear shifting than riding.

In desparation I tried the ERG mode and that actually made it possible to do a very good workout.
It felt like the watts where spot on, and my cadence no longer was braught to a stop by a 1% incline. I may try to mount my power pedals to see just how close the watts are.

However, I discovered that riding in erg mode was a huge disadvantage and the 2 frenchies quicly past me despite doing lower watts and lower watt/kg.

Lars it appears to me that you are not so much annoyed with the operation of your turbo more by the fact that you were passed by two Frenchmen.

That is totally understandable and I think it's about time BKool did something about it.

Bob are you trying to kill me!:heat::B) See you in all thing Zwift

Eh??
Andy, you wanted a base builder:biggrin:
It was fast though-average of 40+ kmh but slower than the chaingang. I bailed after 60k windows defender kept popping up and lead to zwift stuttering. Must remember to turn off notifications. See you tuesday for the chain gang:okay:

I know its a little sensitive subject-Zwift. I thought I would let you know my first proper experience on a long ride. The graphics are very smooth, the transitions are buttery, with a gradual increase in resistance as you roll into a hill just like in real life riding. The speed indicated is roughly correct for the effort/watts. It was remarkable to see 120 riders waiting to start a workout on Saturday morning. I would suggest some of you join for the 14day/50km free trial and test it out.

Out of interest, can you only ride organised events at set times, or can you just ride any route any of the time?

:cursing: Just found something else broken in bkool. I'm going to send a mail shortly.

When setting up an sprint interval in the velodrome it appears in the list and all seems ok. So you schedule it.

When you click on the scheduled event and go to look at that list again, to edit it, all the intervals have turned into single points of interest :cursing: :banghead:.

Any advice from the regulars about what, if anything, I'm doing wrong?

Who's all doing the re-run at 5pm? For anyone who's not already done it, this one's a nice mix of short hills and flats. It'll really set you up well if you intend to spend your evening eating food and drinking alcohol. :hungry::cheers:
