haha there was a bit where we were starting to draft each other well, i think there may be a glitch where, though you are drafting, it looks like to the other youre trying to overtake which causes the tussle.

ill look at power stats tomorrow but look about 5 percent lower than stages, bottom end was about 10 - 15 lower

Your power output on screen is quite steady. Mine jumps all.over the place. Any ideas why?

If you look at Geoff cadence and the gradient both are consistent and steady, i think from my small amount of time on this system its because we were climbing. The cadence stays steady around the 60's which i assume he is stood up unless he has legs of steel. I found high cadence sends the power more jumpy.

It was great fun till scotty beamed me up:cheers:

There was a firmware update to fix cadence and power issues being all over the place, v3.3, but it was pulled after about a week. I suspect you're on v3.2 of the turbo firmware. Apparently a new firmware is due to be release soon if responses from Bkool are to be believed.

I was sat down all the time, possibly one reason the cadence was steady?
I never stand up, I can't really do it!
Geoff
Well fair play to you sir:bravo: it was a froome and contador battle then as im a stander:boxing:

Doe that come up on the desktop app to update or do you have to hunt for it?

I'll check my firmware later. How do I do that ?

In the simulator do a Manual Pair with the trainer then look in the "Settings" under "About Bkool" (scroll right down to the bottom).

It's under the ANT+ information bit.

Should be v3.2 or v3.3 (v3.4 is the pre-release).

On mine, if it's Auto Paired it shows 0.0 ...

I hope you don't mind me jumping into this forum as I am not a team member. I do however have a Bkool and I hoping that you may be able to answer a few questions. If there is a more appropriate forum let me know but this seems to be the only one on the whole internet! Anyway 2 questions:
1. How do I submit a route for 3Dification? And how long does it take? I imported one of my gps rides into Bkool but I only got the rubbish birds eye view of googlemaps. Keen to know where I go to submit and whether it is instant 3D turnaround of if there's a delay.
2. How do I do training sessions on the Bkool. I have done a few follow the video routes and it's really good fun - basically just try and go fast the whole time! But I wondered if there was more of a traineroad/sufferfest option where it will say "high cadence Z4 for 1 minute" then "rest 30 secs" type thing. I would love to do some concentrated training sessions rather than the just ride/race.

Hope that all makes sense and you are able to help. I have 1 week left of my trial and swithering over whether to keep it or not!

Thanks!

you can manually create an interval session HERE

Or HERE to create a plan, I think you get interval type rides, but not sure?
EDIT: I just checked, you also get video rides in a plan)

Once submitted 3D stuff is up to how fast they are feeling at Bkool I think!?
None of my GPX files have been converted to 3D yet,. that was about 2 month ago...
