mmm, dont know what happened there. I've improved but not by that much i thought.
Seemed to get watts easily and then not lose them anywhere as much as I used to when going down hill.

Has BKOOl changed?

I've restarted the Handicap in warmup, for anyone wanting to join the 8pm runners. I cut the warmup short at 8:00:25pm, so elapsed times should be 25 seconds less than time after 8pm!

I've added three ghosts of the three starters (Whorty, Marino and Rob), so you know who you are chasing (no point in adding others as they won't start at their Start Times).

If you start when the elapsed time reaches your Start Time then you should be good to chase down the three ghosts!

Enjoy...

Well I think I win the "low blow" award for that ride! Thanks for carrying me to within 100 meters of the line DP, sorry I have no honour... But at least you know now ^_^.

To be fair Bill dragged my sorry carcass for the first 5 miles or so too. Cheers Bill, Good drafting. You were super strong. I was trying to take turns at the front but you had that extra bit of zip!

Good ride all! Cheers for setting it up Geoff.

Lazy my ass.

I thought I'd cooked myself on the climb at the start of the 2nd lap, pipped the max heart rate I've seen in the last couple years. Finally caught Worty's ghost (thanks for those Geoff) about 3/4 the way and held it off by a second or so while hitting that new max HR again.

My elapsed timer was totally horked, but I think my time on the road was something like 30:02.

No problems! You were a good excuse for me to back off as my asthma was starting to kick in... trying to take an inhaler when at hr of 180 is no easy thing! Strong finish tt, you left me daydreaming!

Thanks for the e-mail Jeff .... as HID said, there goes the bingly-bong of shame  I think on the road I was 32mins 46secs. Having ridden 2 rides already before that I wasn't planning to finish the ride, but guilt got the better of me :banghead: Legs are sore now :B)

I did my warm up on a live course but didn't realise till half way through the 7k that it was a time trial course:rolleyes: so I rode a bit faster and then realised I would have to finish even faster to get into the handicap race. And overcooked it and mistimed the start so I was over a minute behind TT. I went after him hitting 680 w and bringing the time down but ended up unable to breathe ^_^ so slowed down and then burst out laughing at what had happened as DP rolled past. Went after him and nearly got him on the hill but as he pulled away on the slope I decided I didn't want to ride on my own and bailed.
I did go on to test via the tacx app power readings with the NEO in bkool and they are bang on. What I see on the phone app is what I see in bkool.

Moving Times

Massive improvements for Stephen, Marino, Tommy, Insomnia, Whorty and Rod!

Well done all, a really good session. I guess we'll stick with 7pm for now!

Getting the numbers up, might be able to put some teams together for next month?

It's difficult, due to the different strengths and weaknesses suiting different terrains, but if we were to run next weeks Handicap as teams, they would look something like:

Blue - @bridgy, @Daddy Pig, @AAAC 76C, @LBHIFI, @BILL S, @CXRAndy, JonBon
Not Red - @TurboTommy, @bobinski, @Perky77, @Gregory_ca, @berty bassett, Tom Hopper, @Add, Runar, @Monte
Green - @srs52, @Rod McG, @Insomina, @Goldwolfie, @rob01792, @theboxers, @bazzer99, @Northern Tortoise, @Tiny01, @Breedon
White - @JLaw, @bert1971, @Jim Brown, @Whorty, @Soarerv8, @Marino.g, John18, @Gaileb

Please shout out if you aren't mentioned and would like to be in one of the teams, or if you think you are in the wrong team.
