Size? it's all stowed away so having a guess, half a can of soup size ?
Plenty of room to solder, hopefully not happen for a long time.
If the radio? back to a radio repair shop I'd think.

Jigsaw blade getting useless but eventually between that and a saw...
Mrs M happy with it so....
a little turf to be removed and then stones, stones....
it'll be a wee while yet before its done.
Not a big area though, bags rather than a big sack of.

I'm sure Toodles has the skills..
Her mum is pretty handy with a saw and hammer
You've only just fixed it, before tucking it away for a long time. About three inches in diameter then.
There appears to be enough room to get your fingers in, Almost too much, as though it's inviting them in before you pull them out faster than planned.
Know yer limits? Surprised you've got a repair shop though.

Jigsaw, I thought you'd a circular saw you could use. Nothing wrong with having a few spare blades somewhere safe.
She's used it before? Probably can't see the fuss over it...
They used to get prisoners breaking stones as a punishment...
If it's all stones, where will the "playhouse" go. They're not the best of things to land on.
Nearly done then. Any grassed area left?

Toodles as supervisor. You happy to work under her instruction.
Give her one of each the next time they're down. Along with screws, screwdriver and a bag of nails. She can help with the playhouse.

I'd measure it but all tucked away and about a dozen screws to take out and put back..
Although it is easy to access and work on, some hefty voltages are present during operation, which could be a very shocking experience.
No set menu for today..
Maybe a wee jaunt to castle town (not THAT one), the six mile away one..

Aye, still the bulk is grassed,
grass was just forgot about and no feeds etc as Mrs M wanted it stoned but a change of mind, typical and it's scaby looking, me a greenkeeper too, the gardener bit came later.
I'll look at trying improve it at some point....

I have mentioned about the stones.
Off to get the gruel on the go..

It were just to get an idea of the size. The tin of soup'll do. No need to undo those screws again, slide it out, measure then reassemble.
Explains the room given to the various bits you can see in that picture.
A once bitten twice shy experience.
There's more than one...
You'll be keeping yer out for Mary-Kate no doubt...

Electric lawnmower still required then, not a manual one.
Sounds as though the Scottish Greenkeepers Association/Federation might not be impressed. Where were the gardener part found.
A tire, worn out look, that could do with tidying up, to it. Work cut out before you start it sounds. Maybe the stones looked easier and her arms and back disagreed with her eyes and ears.

Gruel on the go, no time to stop and eat?
Slow down a bit, have a sit down protest, it'll give you chance to eat yer gruel at least.

Cloudy start to the day here, but it's clearing slowly.
They named the town after you!

It's named after a Yank breakfast chain...
I can't den(n)y that

I wasn't a member, but the lads at the local golf course were, and I got to play lots of golf courses for free over the years.
Gardener came about after I moved to the gardening side of the job.....
I used my 'council' trowel and secateurs today,
I appropriated them as a souvenir...
A fiver for every bedding plant and bulb I planted over 35 years?
How many, seven figures at least, maybe?
My back is paying for it now:cuppa:
I woke up one Thursday and later I was having strong chest pains so off to casualty..
I'd been bedding out the previous fortnight and had strained/pulled a muscle which was putting pressure on the old ticker..
same happened a few years later,
instead of moving I stretched too far...
oh well.

I might cut he grass tomorrow if it stays dry....
Busy morning ahead...

The "ville" on the end kinda give it away.
Nor confirm it's true...

How often did the golf courses let you win?
Your own clubs and golfing gear, or did you borrow.
"Bob The Gardener" doesn't have quite the same ring to it as "Bob The Builder", does it...
Appropriated, you mean to say they never presented you with a set when you left? That's extreme penny pinching...
Where'd all that money, from planting, disappear.
Back still giving problems.
Chest pains, best not ignored. Even if they leave you feeling daft later.

Supposed to be dry again, maybe you will get that grass cut.
Watch out for that ceiling!!

Have you seen the costs of playing some courses?
I have been part of a winning bid for a fourball around one of Scotland's premier courses, Ryder Cup has been played on it, long story but I couldn't make it. I found out the next day, they had all agreed on overpriced and overrated but for the cost we had originally bid was cheap.
Charity at least got something...
Still got my clubs...last handicap was 17 (10 year ago) and got low as 16 when I was 60...
I had played over the years but never seriously BUT I have a winning trophy sitting here.
I won a club day competition medal with two trophies attached:notworthy:
Scored 81, missed a 12 ft birdie putt on the 18th...
won with a BIH Better inward half.
Fore!!!!!!!!!

I got to wear ear defenders rather than a yellow hat...
I did work on some construction sites in the 70s, I've helped build concrete oil rigs....
This one HERE
Link goes to a Norwegian site, I didn't want to copy the image....
I'd just finish around the time the photo was taken..

The little ones all appearing soon..

Good afternoon :hello:
Almost forgot the time,
out on an appointment earlier..
Mrs M had me working in the garden when we got home..
Owdo
Forget the time, how'd yer manage that.
Looking at playhouses, for Toodles and Co., getting ideas.
Maybe down tools the next time it's like this and there's work needs doing.

Dun't come cheap, I know that. Even their 19th isn't that cheap these days.
Not that one of Donald's! Two local ones, for now, and both match that description.
Four extra whacking golf balls around?
Take up putting in yer garden. Then, when you feel yer able, challenge allcomers...
Straight down the middle...

Couldn't afford both, eh...
Were would you have been working on that then?
Nowt wrong with giving a link.
Any of yer handiwork visible in that picture.

Best of luck...

Not any of the orange one's courses..
King's Course..
we bid a ton for the fourball.
I sold my place..
I suppose the 'I played a GE course' would have been something to throw into conversation...
I once had an offer from a caddie at the Old Course after I commented on his book on being one there. best golf book I ever read.
I have stood on the Swilken Bridge (in my cycling gear)
(photographic proof)
Think a trip to a driving range is due as I've offered to have a game with sis in law's hubby this year...

In the photo, the right-hand leg where the crane support is (crane since removed is where I spent a very nervous two hours tied to a sky climber in a howling wind, The sky climber was luckily tied on to the leg support, never so glad to get to terra firma.
When the towers would be going up in a continuous pour (could be as long as 32 days, I'd be on the inside chipping away and spreading this minging resin stuff where needed, same leg.
I was a fusilier..

Tour of Flanders this weekend..
I'm not moving during it....
I better let Mrs M know.....

Cheap for what you paid is an understatement. Even back then.
Would folk have believed you though, unless you'd proof. Scorecard or some such official paperwork.
That small bridge over a "stream"... I'll let you keep the photographic evidence. It could later be used against you.
Not going down the garden putting green challenge then.

You'd not be visible in the picture then, even if you were there when it were taken.
Not a fan of heights, or were it the wind that did it for you. Getting you ready to kiss solid ground once you were down.
Didn't the fusiliers come down the Glen, not over the water.

What time does coverage start, and do you think you'll be allowed to "not move" whilst it's on the box.
I fear she may have got there before you, all this stuff planned for you...

Nah, too lumpy and bumpy..
I could spend time and get it to the standard needed.
The old joke was about building the perfect green, making it so far from Mon -Thurs, and letting the greenkeeper turf it on a Fri afternoon after a few beverages. Never tried that though...
I spent one winter on a golf course; the rest of the time was in bowling greens....and cooncil footy parks.
Jeez, bowlers could fair moan....(lawn bowlers)
but gullible..
I was getting the usual, 'not running true' 'bit bumpy' etc etc so I wheeled out the big mofo roller and left on the side of the green..
'greens running well since you rolled it', 'running great now'..
I only wheeled it out, I never rolled the green..
Moaners? jeez, never a bowlers fault, always the green.
Shower of fandangos..

Day of rest I think...

Bike race? 10.00 I think...
I'll check later.
Mrs M has been informed..

to think that'll work? pfft..
