I have Sky as part of my package, the Tennis is Mrs M's go-to...
I'm weighing up my options as the usual 'what are you offering me?' is soon....
I have a figure in mind. Is it more than that?

I'll look in the next month or so to see what is on offer....

I was OUT on the bike..
a little just over 8 miles,
local country roads etc..
It was chilly though..
think my legs will feel it later...

I have to sow them yet, the end of the month will do, I think
Of course, a young 'un will win...

Consider that tennis may be moving elsewhere, more money being offered for the rights, in yer weighing up and get it pinned down as staying with them.
They all seem not to bother about existing customers these days, favouring new ones instead.

The Towers has gentle flakes of snow spiralling down outside...
melting on landing on a wet surface, thankfully..
The young 'uns are heading our way.

Further adding to the wet surface... Probably before it freezes.
Last forecast I saw, last night, showed there may be as much as two inches in exposed areas, North o'Border. You can live with that, can't you.

Phone, thinking a cheap sim deal and forgetting the F&F I have with EE..
VM? I'd just get somebody's cheapo broadband and use apps on smart TV for my telly but these TNT ones snaffling the cycling and Eurosport being integrated is bad news..I ain't ponying up again for that dung they are serving up, BT Sport was at least half decent but know? I'm not letting loose with a foul-mouthed rant. I'll have a check on who is doing the tennis but it does look like Sky as the season has started, the problem is Sky didn't have the Aussie Open / grand slams.. I'll give VM a chance to match last year's price or they can go, well. I have an O2 sim as part of the package, if I can dump that well......
the ball will be in their court so to speak.
I pay my MLB streaming separately but would hate to lose the cycling....

Convinced the various providers are working together. "We've had our money out of them, you can have them now!". I might be wrong, but they're doing nothing to prove otherwise.
Sky have quietly been dropping stuff these last six months, I find out afterwards in most cases.
Similar reason to yourself for sky. Currently the only one showing the full F1 season live.

Only ever having had the two phones on contract, every other being bought SIM free, I've never had to get any unlocked. Surprised they unlocked it without being asked to.
And you surf the Internet, use it to locate yourself when you get lost on the bike, or it starts to rain!
How's the WiFi work away from the house.

pretty rapid, yon silver paper stuff they put in to isolate the walls doesn't help much but good speeds downstairs, I have the router in my area, I like to hard wire everything as I've stuff in use 24/7.
We've an openreach point in a cupboard downstairs which can connected to, I had a point put in this area in case we had gone with anyone else so, options are there.

It'll be on as soon as it arrives...
Yeah, scout hut will be as usual.

I'm reliably informed the young 'un is causing havoc even this early..

I forgot about that. They split it years ago.
Similar here, not much of a data user. They expect no-one to want to use the phone/handset to actually speak to anyone these days.
You used the free EE/OpenReach/BT WiFi for calling when out and about?
Living in a Faraday Cage shouldn't affect the speed within it. Just stop any signal getting in.
I see now why all yer aerials are in the attic...
Nowt wrong with having the router in the area that sees the most use, except when there's tennis on't telly...
You've covered yer options pretty well, if not completely...

Suppose it arrives next Friday evening. You'll save watching it until after the weekly visit to the scout hut!!
