I just found the blank looks and lack of enthusiasm hilarious..
A wee bit of Mott the Hoople should have you at least showing some enjoyment..
It looked like they couldn't wait until everything was over..

Sadly it was not, great to look back on old stuff,
mu music almost ends at the end of the 70s...
I like the musical backstories you never heard about...
plus film facts, same idea.

Out for brekkie this mid AM..
yumsville...
panettone time
Does look odd, I'll say that much. Almost as though something had been slipped in their drinks beforehand.
First time I've heard of them though.
Would they have known it was over?

I don't know, some can be quite fun to look back on.
The stories behind the songs can be a bit of an eye opener in some cases.

You paid?
Yumsville. Whereabouts is that...
Homemade or shop bought.

A sermon response. They didn't look that aware.
The Orange One might not be able to trump it.

What is it?

I'd say quite possible, on the fluking side.

I used it as it was a short print...
toothpaste tube squeezer, handy little object.
First attempt at changing filament during print, lucky I think..
Might try something else at some point..
Very possible on the fluking side..
must be an easier way..
Dry work this

A successful short print?
Does it work as it should with the current plastic tubes, or does it require winding up each time.
Can't you pause the "print", thus allowing you to change the filament. Or add more if you're near the end of a reel. You were lucky, just my opinion, unless you manage it again.
Another, colour coded, toothpaste tube key. His and Hers as it were.
Is it the heat off the printer and sweating over whether the filament change working, combined the cause?

That's what i did was pause the print at a certain percentage, I'd just picked a random with the clip..
I had to have another colour ready to go..
There is a way to do all the extruding etc but if i can be nippy it may just work...
the secret will be being there when it pauses and guess what number I forgot to note.. the percentage it pauses at.
I'll redo it in the morn...75 rings a bell.....
quick removal of the first filament then a quick load of the next and hope the 'hot end'/nozzle is ready to go.

No pint tomorrow morning....

Random number picking sounds dodgy, as though you were pushing yer luck... What's the lottery numbers this week?
Does the printer have a small tank where liquefied plastic is kept whilst it's printing, or is the feed to the nozzle continously heated from the reel?
Not likely to upset the printer too much is it.

No shopping trip either!

Hello all :hello:
Bob's run off his feet even when sitting down:laugh:
After sending emailed info to someone who said I didn't, I get an email today from someone who said I did but I didn't..
Confused? so am I.
I should just delete that stuff..
I have a handy file which can prove whether I did or didn't LOL

I just wanted to try changing a different so drew the slider down to almost halfway and got the file ready to try.
Different if the colour is to change at a certain stage for effect.
As above, my head is spinning...
The one who said I didn't, I did and other who insists I did, I didn't.
Might be easier not to use this website...
oh boy, :cuppa:

How about when yer lying down!
Makes perfect sense, no confusion, here at least, whatsoever.
Delete it and you'd never know if you did or didn't send it though. Thereby adding to the confusion
Did the handy file come in handy this time?

Did it work out okay in the end.
Then you've to be ready, waiting to pounce...
Pace a hand, and arm, either side of it. Should be able to stop it that way.
You've two saying you did and you didn't, but you say you didn't and you did.
Sounds like a fun site to visit, every now and again.
A cuppa or two might help sort things out.

No, it never paused at 75%, haven't a clue how although I have a suspicion I redid the preparation which eliminated the change..
Anyhow, it turned 78% so I paused it and the printhead moved to the front left so a quick change of filament. I pushed the blue through slowly and cleared it and hit start again and below is the final piece,

I just used blue as an effect....looks funny.....better looking in real life

at 96% the filament 'broke', it had been badly wound and pulled out but a quick untangle and off it finished luckily, first time that happened.
Not the best model to show the effect but a reasonably quick one as I WAS OUT on my bike for a quick nip around the local area, almost 9 mile later back with wobbly legs (wasn't that bad)..
First time out this year...
Something chilled to celebrate..

Got the latest one sorted out....
logging program had uploaded after sending his end of contact which I never received so it shows at his end as a full contact..
I soon gave up the automatic uploading..
I just do a 10 mins thing each evening after I finish....

Looks good. Maybe a Pantone 300C blue on the next one.
How good is the bond between the two layers?
The % figures you're throwing in the state of the print job when you paused it or something else.
Blue and white totally unconnected to flag colours I suppose.
Had similar happen on sewing machines, doubt it slid of the end of the reel, leaving a kink in it though.
You printed a crocodile whilst riding yer bike!
Yer legs still wobbly...
Iced tea?

The latest something new?
How does not receiving affect your score rate. Full contact at his end, partial at yours.
Fer good?
A ten minute thing, is this where the logging up now comes in.

I just used blue to highlight..
Pantone? I'm busy trying to finish a choccy panettone (is that spelling?)
Bond is solid..
the toothpaste clip I first did, looking closely at it, the 'red' looks slightly smaller but of course, it isn't.

I can 'look' at how to choose the optimum place to start laying down the other colour..
Screenshot 2025-01-21 221303.jpg

That would have been possibly the best..13 points less than I did.
I'm having a break from it all for a while....
I've had enough...sleepy time
