G'day folks
, I'm slacking as only the second of the day...
, I'm slacking as only the second of the day...
Over the course of the day, not that bad. Aside from around mid-day.
Breezy all day here, although the rain is dying out at present.
Toodles isn't going to have another birthday!
You've banned her from having any more!! It might save you some money I suppose.
End of this month, through to early April peak period birthday wise here.
Isn't nonsense being spoken normal at such gatherings?

Only the second, you are slacking.
Has the rain been delivered yet, they said 24 hours maximum.
You were part of that rabble. It's a rabble of nonsense..
I did talk much to another about microwave..
I might branch out at the lower end..
portable more likely as home QTH is useless for any VHF upwards....
will muse over it and ask more questions next week..
She's back this morning raising merry whatever one year olds cause....
You were part of that rabble.
Cooking or radio?
Any idea as to the costs involved. I'm assuming you'll be starting nearly from scratch on it.
One thing I found out this month, from someone not seen for a while is that the 5G masts that have sprung up around here is playing merry hell with some bands/frequencies.
She's enjoying herself. You up to buggy pushing for an hour or two?
Expensive to get started in/on?Radio...
lower end, not dish territory..
nothing out of the ordinary showing here, just the usual mush and hash..
Expensive to get started in/on?
You'll not be experimenting in trying to cook yer dinner.
Just the usual "mush and hash". Ever get unusual mush and hash?
Normality returned to the Mhor household yet!
OwdoGood morning,
is here
Enjoy your day
Just had a gander at prices for that part. Up to four figures, although ali has one not quite so dear.Transverter most expense..
antennas can be made..
advantage at those frequencies is smaller antennas..
new stuff to me so
more discussion to find out more...
Hopefully all the kit will fit into my pannier and handlebar bag....
That would be handy, TX and cook yer lunch at same time....
I could buy a 9700 with 23cm as standard but avoiding it like the plague..Just had a gander at prices for that part. Up to four figures, although ali has one not quite so dear.
You really need a "lab" down the garden, where you can experiment to yer hearts content.
Just think, yer out on yer bike, headed home having passed close to(50 miles) to a navy base when you're stopped by the police wanting to know what yer up to. Whilst one is asking the questions, the other is having a look at yer bike. Finding the transmitter, their interest increases...
And hopefully not cook you at the same time. Tinfoil suit time?
Owdo
Is that for later, when Toodles isn't there...
Quiet one?

transverter ?
Might email man who makes a very popular one..
200 plus postage?
I've activated hills just to the E of Faslane Naval base and not far from Coulport (where the BIG munitions are stored)
One of my Toob videos,
listen for the live ammo
If this is flying, live ammo practice

these signs are placed almost every 50 m until I would skirt W wards on my way to the summit

Very quiet,
Beag appears later....
plenty cycling on to watch
Trivia, on a clear day you can see Ben Nevis from that summit....
Is that "avoiding like the plague" due to cost or practical use.
Is it as reliable as it is popular? Given the prices seen earlier, and the figure given above, I can understand why you want to learn more about it first.
I mean it might not even warm yer coffee up, or get you banned from McD's.*
I know yer close to some of the bases. Been up near the "golf balls", now pyramids, a few times, walking or cycling. The only "visible" military base nearby. Aside from barracks.
No Admittance and you still go past.
How close were you videoing that?
That quiet yer wondering what's happened?
Quiet, along with the peace, to be broken on his arrival?
Who's winning, and how's the weather affecting them.
I'll try to remember that bit. Might come up in a quiz one day.
*Saw a sign in the McD's in Asda yesterday, something about using your points now as their system is changing.
A sort of use 'em or lose 'em warning.
Close enough to know running for the hills wasn't an option. Was pretty close to Faslane and Coulport, still in the big boom area though..
It goes up? I'll microwave....ironic , eh?
The Keep out signs? okay if you keep to the East of them, they have been busy 'removing' some of the training area going by google earth. Bit scary hearing the firing though.
Been in touch with Bulgaria, got a price and now to decide how to pay..
cheaper than I thought....
radio ? almost 2,000..
We pass 'golf balls' occasionally but they are out of use now...
not as big as down yer way..
Dunno 'bout Maccys points changing but I do know about points expiring, a couple of banana milkshakes will use mine up, I got an email saying I'll lose 100 points on the 1st Mar...
Off to get some fizzy ale...
