Had a wee trip around various shops..
and saw two what I'd call 'gully' motors cleaning out roads side drainage gullies, in two different locations...
I guess the recent storm dramas have revived the cleaning of these, I honestly cannot remember seeing this being done in this area since we moved.
My old employer literally stopped doing them after the driver retired, it was done on a continual round.

I bought an item recently and got sked about signing up to the card, lady filled it in and gave me 10% off..
Just unsubscribed from their emails....after I got a couple of vouchers :cuppa:
Company that the council employed to do that job here, after they got rid of the council fleet, were done for dumping their waste into watercourses. Still the council kept employing them.
No good cleaning the gullies as the drains remain blocked. And that's a seperate job, albeit with the same vehicle.

Did similar, but they sent letters out asking about the odd purchases. Got fed up with the questions, and told them.

Still dry up there?

I think we're ahead of you on the rain front, so far.
Cuppa go down okay?

Gutten...
T'is!

There's not much left to let down, not up to boogieing, so it may just be the cuppa.

Why not!

Who by?
Didn't fancy the dodgy handshake?
Yer behind on the rain front, for now. Or else we're catching up.
Oddly the bar prices at one of the last ones to close round here were more than the Irish Club over the road. Just u the road from the police station and courthouse.

The only apron I wear is the one I use when cooking...
dark blue with a thin white pinstripe..
If I cook for Mrs and me,
I can bodge it..
Mrs M has no sense of taste...

still less than a mm

Sounds like a homepride(Remember Fred?).
"Bodger Bob", is there no end to what you do?

Rain has eased here, replaced with a fog that's limiting visibility to around 50 yards. Not to bad yet.

Make my own bread, knit my own yogurt, not made any soap for ages, I love creating stuff..
Could be ciabatta rolls this am and maybe cupcakes later (if Mrs M remembers carrots, mini carrot cake)
Busy so I'm off...

This soap you make, is it from scratch or from the remains of other bars?
Ciabatta rolls! Again with the foreign foods.
Do these carrot cupcakes explain why you're going out more at night. Or, were they started because you were venturing out at night?
Sithi later

Good day to yourself...
Why'd you wake her, she were probably enjoying that sleep.
This walking, do you mean Toodles or yourself?
I dread the day she starts to walk, i'll be cream crackered chasing after her..
wee soul had slept for almost 12 hours so..

Nah, from scratch or cheat using melt and pour.....
colour and scent to suit....
Present fave (bought) is Wright's, the old scent of coal tar, sadly no coal tar is used, tea tree oil now with the small of coal tar sadly..
Wonder if they still sell Lifebouy?
I remember buying bars (or a slab) of yon old carbolic special.....
same as school supplied to wash yer hands....
killed all known germs and more....
never made any cakes, maybe over the weekend

On the other hand you'll not be pushing a loaded buggy as much. Swings and roundabouts...
When she starts walking, will it be you sleeping 12 hours solid?

Just remember the two types of soap making kits we used to sell. Start from scratch and using left over pieces. Perfumes added to suit.

Lifebouy is still there. When Wrights stopped their coal tar soap, I bought a few "large"(about the size of a block of butter) bars of carbolic soap whilst on holiday. Then switched to Lifebuoy, then Imperial Leather.

No cakes, what'll you eat on the morrow?
