Wot u say?
Pins dropping everywhere:laugh:
Funnily I find some phone calls on the landline, certain accents are beating me now, mobile seems okay..
must be the way the incoming call is 'mixed'..

No I was well below age:laugh:
I preferred Woodpecker in those days..
I'm a dry cider man now...
got three bottles from someone recently and popped one open last night,
very like Old English but weaker but the 'aroma' was like that country smell.....
I would drink again.
I do prefer the blended stuff like Strongbow (cases to Bob in Scotland please....address by request on PM..)
Like Gin, the established ones are best (one or two 'specialist' like Kew Organic are fab)
Jeez, I've studied booze over 60 years

I gave when it all fell apart..
off to chase the world..

Just make certain you've summat on yer feet in that case.
That'll be the fibre in place of the copper line. They claim it's much clearer, who wants dirty calls. Mobiles and radios much the same principles for the end user, probably why you have fewer problems.

An uneducated guess says you'd not have been the only one at the time.
You got to choose, at that age! Couldn't you just have drunk whatever was bought. This picture in mi head now of you as a young whippersnapper holding up the bottle of the stuff you wanted. Or even just the label, having soaked it off because there were money back on the bottle.
And if a few bottles of Woodpecker were to find there way into your shopping basket, you'd say no?
What's those sixty years of research led you to conclude, where will you be publishing your findings. Have you tried pear cider yet?

Did you manage to fix it?
Head east, it'll be quicker as you'll be on a collision course with it headed towards you.

Not a fan of pear cider nor all those now trendy fruit ones...
Cider, epple only for me..
Chilled with a bubble in it, still only if desperate...
Beer can be a different kettle of fish (not literally)
Brewer across the river does an interesting beer with an IPA finish..
braw and refreshing,
one or two of the small batch so-called craft beers are nice, some are a waste of water TBH
but each person has a different take on each one..
It's all this pish like
'It has a citrusy start, notes (NOTES???) of this or that and a chocolate finish blah blah...

Guinness, you have to have someone who can pour it properly, rarely found..
I think the weight of yon old screw tops would stop a wee lad holding it up to drink from...

It'll all be fibre here as there is a box inside with connections to the system if using overreach lines, VM put their own cabling in during construction . It'll be my ears dulling down with age.

I'll be honest and say the only pear cider I've touched is Bulmers, shortly after it came on the market. In fact the only cider I've drank has been Bulmers.

Due you think on the notes side that they're trying to say you'll be slightly musical after supping it.
Guinness is about the only drink taken, sold in pubs bigger than a 1/4 pint. Murphy's or Beamish at a push, but only at a push. Tried a "craft stout" in a must be seen bar in Leeds, if you ever saw "The Good Old Days" on telly it were the one the performers used. Colour of cold coffee wasn't a good start.
You can still get screw top bottles, just not on much these days. Wouldn't stop them, they're supping the cheap stuff from three litre bottles.

The same lot have their fibre in round here, seperate boxes though. Full fibre to the house. Others are now following, digging up the roads.
Why do mobiles sound okay if it's an age thing. They're younger than yer lug holes.

The rain has arrived here, with a bit of thunder.

We've had 21.3 mm since 3.29 pm....
no rumbles though..
Has to be Guinness, no substitutes but as i say a rare event to get a decent poured pint..

My fave is Orchard out of Aldi....
as said I'll take what I call the blended brews anytime...

Babycham
or even worse was Advocaat, worse than Baileys...
I come from a family of jakeys:laugh:
Yon three litre stuff up here is expensive due to the 50p per unit rule......
feckin' nanny state....and a proposal to up it to 65p....
ach well, rugby score bad...
more likely baseball will too..

We got less than 10% of what you got, in the half hour it fell here. Rumbles was as far as it got here, came to nowt in the end.
Guinness, Murphy's, as I said, at a push. Beamish only if were someone else's round and they bought it. I'd miss my drink if it were my round.

Baileys is just the commercial version of a hand mixed drink. No-where near as good though.
How much, liquid wise, is a unit for the purposes of pricing?
There's one possible way round the unit pricing system. All you've to do is get yourself elected to the Scottish Parliament. Their bar doesn't use that system.
Can you handle another letdown on the sporting front.

Why not, they get things such as this free!
I'll believe you.
The next Olympics maybe? See how you do at the selections first.
Liquid or monetary, given it'd go further here

Good afternoon to you too.
Have a work to rule on Wednesday. Do what YOU want to do...
It were only the one today, wasn't it!
You've no garden left now, or have you.

Not seen one of those particular type in years. Although numbers of them spotted are increasing as summer draws to a close.

I work to rule most days..
If Mrs M say work, I work..
If she says nothing, I do nothing.
I do occasionally have a wee brain lapse and do something..
there must be a bug in her programming of the Mhor....

Just not your rule, seems fair enough.
If she says rest and put yer feet up, you do?
Occasionally ain't too bad.
You can keep yer bugs.

Sat down at the desk after being out on me bike and heard 'fluttering' and saw this wee fella on me telly
Goldcrest, a cracking looking little bird and it got out through the window.
Must have came in an open window....

The last place you'd expect to see outdoor wildlife, inside watch yer telly.
Was it watching anything worthwhile.
I'd check, he might be in league with the cat, or it may bring its mates in for the winter!
All yer windows intact?
