Green fingers worked too well/too much last time round.
Why all these visits to garden centers then if not for plants. Have you some other reason for going. Other than being chauffeured around.

It's a senior citizen thing..
get a rewards card..
12 quids..
2 free coffees(or tea) a month..
buy a scone...(we treated ourselves to a brekkie last time)
we have cards for two so two trips per month...
It covers a morning each time before Mrs M collects Beag,
nice to have a wee walk around and nosey.....

I can't grow the sods either..
tried two years in a row..
germinate, prick them off and nothing then happens

Possible frost overnight...
mind you 7.1c just now..
have they got it right?

Don't give up, you'll surprise yourself one day. Sounds as though you were never meant to grow them. Just ditch them, replace with something else and watch them grow on their own.
