I'll just buy jars of Audrey's finest until then
(one of the German supermarkets have occasional beets but not size I'd prefer)
Gutters are good for lots of stuff but need constant watering...

Rain again..
Strong atmospheric storms last night, woke up to my cubesat module off line,
waiting until something comes within range unless something has gone kapow..
no difference I'll put on my spare module later...
Audrey being the reason for you growing your own, and at least you'll have a supplier ready to meet your demands.
Do they know their goods aren't good enough?
Giant "marble run" with golf balls instead of marbles, for the Young In of course.

Owt interesting/odd happen?
Are these the ones that are supposed to run while next month?
You think the storms last night may have done the damage. Nowt in range, how close do they need to be!
And then order another spare module.

nah, youngest one is at her home....
slept well apparently...
Think it's downstairs for my daily bowl of gruel (with no addons)..
I don't have any cook to make mine...
You got the night off, but ended up getting up anyway. Be careful young Bob, people may start getting ideas.
Youngest or yourself slept well.
Enjoy yer gruel, with no addon's.

My Apple Watch was pinging with alerts, but like you say, ended up overcast and wet.

that was quite a 'storm', most of the frequencies I plod about are still 'dead'..
although BGS say it is quiet..
orange is G4.jpg

No doubt some folk would have caught it....
in their true fashion, they were light on the forecast strength saying G1 last night but saying possible G2 tonight..
I get email alerts but none yesterday,
they are hit and miss, more miss TBH.

Well the shortest day of the year got off to a damp start. With a slight attempt at freezing in the early hours.

nay, wasn't anywhere near the previous evening

Sadly I now have to log any contacts at an hour less, confuses the life out of me for a week..

2.1c the lowest here..
-5c promised overnight so no watering of anything today, just in case...

and good day all :hello:

And you didn't get up to have a gander, while doing other stuff.

Can't you just add +1 to your records, at the top of the page. Or would that make things worse. A week isn't that long.

"They say we'll have snow this Easter, they said there'd be a piece for all..."
Mid single figures all day here. Could be white come the morn.
Does anything really need watering after the last few days!

Owdo by the way

Topside of 5°C at present, cloudy skies might prevent it dropping much lower.
Do you buy new or secondhand?
Will you have enough beetroot this time round you reckon.

Sleep well tonight in that case.
I foresee an early start and a late finish for you.

Good afternoon :hello:

Bought new, promptly shattered an end whilst drilling drain holes, put too much pressure..
Lost roughly 15 to 18 inches so I cut the broken bit off so now what's left up too.
Think it could be 'erbs......
Mr B and Q has 10% off so took advantage..

minus 2.3c at 7.10am was the lowest and sun is currently smiling on us...
Its going to dice with below overnight, we'll see.

Nothing planted out as I'd no pea left...
maybe out later for a packet..

been a busy longish day so far..
threatened to 'top' the grass but dunno...
Beag will here soon before he heads home..
I've still to catch up the Andalucía race so off to do that now.

Evening...

Do they ever ask what you need them for? You need pictures of them in place to give them some ideas.
Thought the 10% pensioner discount were Wednesdays at B&Q.
Rosemary and Thyme?

No white stuff requiring scraping from windshields round these parts this morning. Cloud cover must have increased, keeping some heat in.
Sunshine for the best part of the day here, no wind either.

Pea's! You'll never grow enough for yourself.

Too wet to even consider cutting the grass. Even with a freshly sharpened blade.

You'll have caught the chasing pack up before the Young Un pointed to your room, allowing him control of the telly.
