Hello. early or late, you decide ( it was laaaaaaate)
It can be annoying. "You can shop quicker using this, but we don't really trust you so be ready to be stopped"!
You didn't.
Thought you weren't gonna grow any this year...

Be summat similar here, temperature wise.
That's one of the problems with this healthy eat malarkey, it can end up killing you. Then again so can anything else.
Enjoy...

My pickled beetroot is done..
withdrawal symptoms, reduced to buy Audrey's stuff..

2,5c just now but feeling below that..
Just back for the hut..
been one of those days..
Beag sitting....

Morning
You certain about that?

Mind on other things...

I'd say late.
Yer pickled beetroot! What sort grows that fast, you bought the seeds only this week!!
Getting pickled would take them longer than a week. Surely...
You left yer hut behind...
He's not keeping you awake at night, or waking you up is he.
All in all it sounds like one of those days.

After I pickled my baby beets (home grown), I bought beetroot from Lidl.
The jars soon got emptied...
I'll wait until end of march and start beetroot off.

Hut was reasonably busy and even had some radio talk last night
Spend ages trying find out why a donated computer was sssoooooooooo slow, running Windows 11 as well, I'll have a further look next week..
Needs a total install from the beginning...

Beag back tomorrow evening.

Enjoying the bike racing..
Mrs M will soon be watching her tennis hero soon,
it'll be noisy....

You've polished off what took you last year to grow already!
Sounds like you've not hung back...
Six months agrowin, three months agoing...

Were there many there.
Any luck with the donation yet, or a project for another day.

He's not at school yet?

Yer managing to keep up with the pack.
MINTS?
All that grunting when they hit it...

Beetroot seeds planted circa beginning of June, seedlings planted on the 13th June and baby beets picked 17th Aug then pickled around the 19th Aug.....luvely jubbly..
What'd be "top dollar" price if you were paying for it?

Check EBAY, a few equivalents kicking about....

Two & half months from seed to stomach.

EBay has gone nuts on expected prices in recent months.

And if I'm not?

Did the pair of you come back, together?
Spy any teddy bears, odd buildings.
No picnics, just an expensive cafe en site.....
amazing walks though...
had the bins with me but strangely not much birdlife but area was generally busy.
Charging up the camera in case i go back up,
Just the two.
Think of the price in the shops at harvest time.
I'm thinking two gutters at a time..
Mrs M want 'erbs...
aldi the other day, 75p each, got a parsley and coriander..
a bit 'drawn' but will do..
tasty in the ole loup de loup..
time for fermented apple juice...

Expensive, how much was a cuppa on it's own? And were you paying?
The path less trodden...
That's the problem with areas that are popular/easy to get to. Others go there as well. Sometimes too many there, enjoying nature, complaining about everyone else.
You'll be back there.
Summat you never had to do with a film camera, charging batteries beforehand.

Only the two gutters this year! No spuds, so far...
What about sage?
Do Aldi do sage seeds/plants.
Homemade loup de loup I presume?
Enjoy yer one of five a day.
