Talking of sugar reminds me that I found a tin of condensed milk in the larder yesterday. I boiled it up for 3 hours as per instructions and turned it out to cool meaning to put it in the fridge. Before it got there it seems to have vanished and some so and so has just left some dregs on a plate.
A 'Who got the cream' scenario..
I liked carnation when I was a yunk but now...nah.
look for who's purring:wacko:

A road bike at my weight?
only if I could run 32 or 35 tyres...
I couldn't disappear down tracks etc..
I did have a wee notion of a Triban flat bar but I think they are built for skinny people not (C)hunks like me:laugh:
plus I cannot get on with presta valves:wacko:

Go for 11/2" tyres, or solid tyres if you want.

Qui..
c'est la homme..
rattly metal wheels must have been fun...not..
pneumatic would have been a game changer..

I'm unsure about those tyres though:wacko:
Kirkpatrick Macmillan was a Scottish blacksmith. He is generally credited with inventing the pedal driven bicycle*.

*Rear wheel driven by a set of treadles on the front axle.

You getting yourselves confused with John Dunlop on the tyre front?

You sure!

Why nine, you got more than the one bike, and a unicycle.
That's why Dunlop was mentioned. Widely held as being the inventor of pneumatic tyres. May change later this year though.

Morning??
Only one bike now, girly hybrid back with youngest..
and what a girl, first time on bike in ages and left her boyfriend struggling in 31 mile run..

Dunlop..
is it still being used as a name on substandard sports equipment?

Anyway, have shutdown everything for the day..
pouring bag of oats into tub, tub falls into utensil drawer (don't ask), 33% of oats everywhere in drawer and spent ages cleaning each utensil then started to hoover up and then just as I finished, i hit the clip and all the oats etc fell over the chair and floor cue maniacal laughter, no swearies honest..
then I had to clean everything up,
trip up the loft now postponed:laugh:

had a:cuppa:
