Yep. Wish I could turn the clock back 5 years prior to my big off plus having bad sciatica again 2 years ago after heavy lifting. I suspect I would feel an awful lot better.

The way I look at it..
I'm getting out and about, enjoying the country air plus the almost pollution free roads just now..
I'm able to do this..
even with my underlying (new buzz word) health issues I can still get there....
anyhoo you have a fair while to go till you meet THAT age....

Just remember we can just moan about the weather, it's our national sport

Finally got myself into gear for a bike ride, I think about 40k.

Just checked, it was just over 20k, mainly because I had to miss a large section out due to some construction work. Ho hum.

to be exact, it was 23k. There's a longer loop I usually do but this is currently cut while the new high speed railway line is being built, and this was longer than I thought...

Absolutely ages, so far. I thought I was going to get away from it by moving to Freiburg, but there's a new relief line being built there as well, and it passes the town I'm moving to...
