Asking for directions here is fraught with problems because cycle routess avoid main roads. That's a good thing but the chances are the person giving directions is a car driver and their directions send you off onto a dual carriageway as often as not...

As per usual, I didn't sleep that well so heard the rain at wind at times during the night. Still dismal but I think it's nearly off but still breezy. I'll have a wander soon.

Morning. I was just about to start on a mug of coffee when my stupid cat had a maddie and came belting into the room, on to the computer desk and knocked a full mug flying. Walls and carpet cleaned and now made another. Hanging onto this one!

Sorry to hear that Andy. It's a horrible time of year for some folk heading into the darker, depressing months. Can't say I've enjoyed this year much myself to be honest............and looking at the next fortnight's forecast of rain pretty much every day doesn't help!

You can only get soaked to the skin the once on any one ride(without changing clothes), the cooler weather you can, trust me, get used to.
