I was thinking more along the lines of just water.
You can't trust the quality of water,
why do you think beer was the drink of choice a couple of centuries ago?
I ain't taking today's risk:laugh:

Sand in a sock, pour the water in at the top, allowing it to filter through. Taking out the big stuff. The sock may remove some of the smaller stuff. Then boil, and allow to cool before drinking.

Top Tip
Avoid using builders or play sand, as they lack the natural edges. Some play sands are even synthetic.

Day off........or just on a break? We have a much fresher day thank God........downside is it's windy. Yuck. Legs still feeling yesterday's run anyway so don't think I'll be doing much other than walking.

Travelled back from Norwich on the train today.
Did the Norwich Challenge 100 sportive yesterday.
Norwich also hosted the British road race championships yesterday.
