Some hooray Henrys have been shooting pheasants about 10 miles from where i live. They are staying in a hotel and 2 of the hunters have parked helicopters in a field beside the hotel..
I was heading down a hill nearby and saw it land so about turn and back to 'nosey', it was delivering bits to repair a nearby pylon...it was worth the nosey.Just lying around then

I'm fascinated more by 'copters than aircraft but the 'Jesus Nut' kinda puts me off
They can land without an engine, under control. Just so long as they're not under "Dead man's curve".They cost a hell of a lot to service. The whole helicopter and engine has to be taken apart and tested. It takes weeks and costs around £25,000.
Stuck it in my handlebar bag...Which pocket did you put it in?
Comprehensive maintenance schedules and no corners cut in all aviation which shows in the safety records...They cost a hell of a lot to service. The whole helicopter and engine has to be taken apart and tested. It takes weeks and costs around £25,000.
