Hello... It was widdling it down earlier, now clear blue skies and bright sunshine.

Yesterday we went to the shops as a family, always an interesting spectacle: Beautiful Wife on Bakfiets, boys on their bikes and your correspondent on the Xtracycle with Beautiful Daughter on the back. Thanks goodness the local Aldi has big cycle racks.

That reminds me of when the local Kindergarten asks for 'dads' to come and help with maintenance, they list tools to bring, including 'chainsaws'.

The sight of ten middle aged dads wandering down the high street with massive chainsaws will stay with me for a while...

Started in the rain, halfway it brightened only to dump on me a couple of miles later, sod it I'm heading home I said...

Was a tad chilly but the sun was out. Roads pretty wet and mucky though. Have you stopped using Strava?
