Mind you, the return journey wasn't much better. And the worst of it was the 'assistants' at the job centre were so bad, I had to do it again the next day, and then two more days running before I realised that taking a German with me panicked the 'assistant' into telling me the truth.

That was many years ago when I was young and innocent and the Xtracycle was a normal Raleigh mountain bike on it's first set of components. I had a set of halogen lights (on the bike) that needed a battery the size of a small house brick, but they were brilliant for waking up dopey drivers in the dark lanes...

Just got back from picking up a parcel. The post sent it to a different post office in another town. This is what passes for modern postal services, well done lads.

To add insult to injury it wasn't actually there when I arrived...
