Where it shouldn't have been in the first place. Or anywhere else for that matter. I visited a more local post office and they didn't have my parcel either. I asked if I could call tomorrow "No, you'll have to come in. there's no phone" he said.
This is the great new privatised post office I thought.
Then the phone rang.

I'd just come down this one...

I've got an uphill somewhere. Trouble is, it's hard to show the real gradient.

Surface is better on the road too.

When I commuted this way to college -not that long ago- I would let the bike roll down this hill on the road, in the dark, barely touching the brakes until I had to turn onto the road the bike is on: I'd coast for the first kilometre, right along the valley.

I was either incredibly cool or incredibly stupid.

That was in 2012-14. Somehow I got old in the last few years: Today I was on the cycleway with the brakes on all the way down...

I'm not that stupid.

I've always been fussy about good lights. I once had a pair of double halogen lights that lit up a low flying helicopter, and it turned out that my work jacket has reflective stripes in the design.

I never worked out why I needed reflective stripes in a carpentry workshop.

It's not the worst locally by any means, just the one I'd happened to come down.
