That sounds pretty grim.
Overcast here today but a good long ride was managed.
Just a bit of drizzle for a few miles and then it cleared up and was dry.

I have noticed the leaves round here also.
Also noticed quite a few coming down whilst working. Leaf fall season in the railway is not a nice time. Driving is not the nicest experience during the season.
