"Customer Service" has already said it's the fault of the person taking the payment, not them.

I see a long drawn out affair here.
New banking law makes it much easier to recover money paid to wrong account....
Anyhoo, how can it be the person taking the monies fault?

I just went for usual early walk. Rain came on within minutes of going out so got soaked. That will be the exercise for the day I think.

It'll be where you left it the last time you finished using it.

I think they're already making excuses to avoid having to pay it back. Claiming from the person puts a face in front of me, not a voice over the phone.

They have to rectify their mistake...

had three refunds recently but for smallish amounts but still asked for cheques.
I do internet banking but still wary of it..
Hope all turns out for the best..
If they're not willing to sort it out, I've numbers to phone about it. See how they react to calls on a Bank holiday weekend.

Bank has said see what their, EE's, response is first.
