What a great night, some great achievements by riders who were not used to the distance or riding in the dark - absolutely shattered now though, off to bed (once I add it to my 100k challenge rides, obvs )

Got a couple of bargains. A 110mm and a 120mm stem. £2.99 each, need to get a longer position on the winter bike. At that price I can try both to try to get the same position as on my summer bikes.

Girl across the road from me has offered. I am tempted. She uses the hot stones. The thought of hot stones and someone massaging my back right now sounds like bliss to be honest. I might take her up on her offer sometime.

I wouldn't mind the girl over the road from me making an offer like that.

Should give it a go. My mate from Inverness uses the guy that is the Caledonian Thistle physio. Je said he does the hots stones thing and it is good for aches and pains

I don't know if I'd want a bloke grappling with me though.

Hopefully protesters will behave. Most of the ones I saw looked sensible ones. Hope the rent a mob lot don't turn and cause aggro for the peaceful ones.

Back from a short ride with the boy.
He did well, 8 miles in total although he was wobbly and almost came off twice. His balance is awful
