I tried later to walk across the Clyde , it never worked...

They were dreadful, they were 3 coaches too short (especially when on routes that fill all 8 coaches of an HST set) , had very squeaky brakes and were frequently failing. I think First Hull and Arriva Grand Central use them now.

Was going to get one from Shrub Hill to Foregate St today and it was cancelled. Technical problems?
It was a case of quick march in the showers to get a train homewards as it means I can get finished an hour and a half early.

Would be hard pressed to go back, redundancy would force it, I don't have the right temperament for it.
