Oh that's right @Blue.....
Rub It In....
I am rubbing it in - the sun-cream that is.
I'm in the cat 'hospital' at the moment - the signal is stronger in here so I'll take this opportunity to say "Hi" now :hello:.
No more scratches yet - I'm trying to develop a better technique when it comes to sorting out the food/water/litter in the cages, although the close proximity of my hands to growling and spitting cats is a bit unnerving!! One of the sick ones is due to get his final jag at the week-end and he will then be left back to the park where he lives which will be a good thing as he sounds and looks like he is going to have my whole arm off if he gets the chance - although he is a beautiful cat. At least the dozens outside are just a tripping hazard while they mill around at feeding time.

Still,a great time is being had by all.:sun::cheers::sun:

Vote wasted...

You ain't far behind me, young 'un:rolleyes:
I remember getting taken to Glasgow to see the said movie, playing gooseberry with my cousin and her boyfriend...
A trip to Glasgow was a treat, now?
we always took 'high tea', places which served either steak pie etc, fish and chips, mince pie and chips or a chicken salad. Pot of tea and buttered bread...
Its all pizzas, burgers and chicken now

I've got a little kitten called 'Lucky Baby' lying beside me now. It was dumped on the doorstep when a new born and had to be fed milk from a dropper for a while, but is now onto solids. Lovely wee thing, it is.

Have to go now. Mrs B wants on to Facebook to speak to the family. :hello:

If hubby is narking you, get the guitar out, helps to chill.

Us geezers are not so good at the whole talky, getting you stuff.

I am not anyway.

By the way, I think I might be getting on a bit (I am nearly 22 now)

Yesterday I bought 2 Brad Paisley (Country singer & guitarist) albums in the 2 for £10 sale at Bury HMV.

Listened to one 3 times already, it's really very good.

Closest I ever got to Country before is Keith Urban (who us also very good) but I don't class him as proper out & out Country.

Just varying my musical ear input & broadening my knowledge.
I love Country- classics to modern. One of the best albums I've listened to recently is the one from the TV series Nashville.
Worth a listen IMO

But then I am only nearly 20 ;)

Good morning @SatNavSaysStraightOn :hello:

Did you ever get your recumbent tuned up & running sweet ?

I've done how ever far my ticker says I have done. Just back from another ride, this time in full waterproofs.
I think it is the rider that needs the tune up and to be running sweet. She isn't. She isn't very fast either.
I need to get the front derailleur looked at, I think the cable has stretched at touch and it keeps throwing the chain which is a really pain.
The Rohloff hub needs needs a service. that used to be something I could do, but can't now.
The external gear changer needs some lithium grease adding... it is like nagging a brick wall some days...
I broke down last week, or rather the bike did... a grub screw had not been done up tightly enough so wasn't gripping the Rohloff hub gear cable and it finally came loose. not something I can deal with in the field - which was a pain because I didn't have an 8mm spanner with me, but luckily was in my lowest gear (needed for 2 hills I had to get up) but sadly being 5 miles from home and spinning out at silly low speeds took rather a long time to get home (2hrs plus).
I think I am going to make the parking brake a proper rear brake because I have issues on the bend into my lane, I can't indicate right and slow down with a single brake lever for both front wheels being on the right and after the long hill I have just done, you need to slow down and often indicate right at the same time. The parking brake doesn't hold properly anyhow and can't be tightened otherwise it catches the rear wheel when weight is transferred either left or right in bends...

Otherwise, yes. I think she is sorted  I know I have covered more than 500 miles on her now, slowly.
