Morning..just. If you want the ideal christmas crackers when you have the youngsters around then the RSPB shop has either Racing Robin or Racing Penguin ones (I misheard her phoning from the shop at first...I thought she said 'Do you want roasted Robin or Penguins, not Racing so I was a bit confused...anyway..) so you crack them open, get a wind up bird toy each and then race them around the demolished remains of the other bird on the table...
One more cuppa, then walkies..:cuppa:

The @welsh dragon has the answer... both! Cycle indoors... or at least set the turbo up in the back yard, that way you can just get off and come in for a warm cuppa before you lose any nuts.
I would have to piles of dung and hedges alongside me..
I tried an exercise bike once and even with it being in front of the gogglebox I got bored.

I like the interaction of chatting with people oot'n'aboot and the smells and seeing what's going dooon...

My fave rollers were the Bay City one....shang a lang:thumbsup:

I can a Lancastrian drooling at the thought of cycling in the dungeon...you imagine the rest (for him)

By preference, yep me too... but there are days when I resign myself to an hour or so on the turbo, I plug my ears in to my music and have my bike set so I can look out the shed window at the bird feeders... it's cold at first, walking down to the shed in summer type gear but the towel I take down with me is soon in use... I was sat on the turbo when I noticed a Spotted Flycatcher nest in our eaves in the summer, probably wouldn't have noticed it unless I was out there!
