If you want the ideal christmas crackers when you have the youngsters around then the RSPB shop has either Racing Robin or Racing Penguin ones (I misheard her phoning from the shop at first...I thought she said 'Do you want roasted Robin or Penguins, not Racing so I was a bit confused...anyway..) so you crack them open, get a wind up bird toy each and then race them around the demolished remains of the other bird on the table...

The @welsh dragon has the answer... both! Cycle indoors... or at least set the turbo up in the back yard, that way you can just get off and come in for a warm cuppa before you lose any nuts.Will Bobtoday? or be sensible and stay in?
