Miners track ascent...Llanberis Path descent...(357 days ago)This is a tale of tragedy worthy of Shakespeare Bob... Never mind, perhaps you can get a 'I watched the young'un climb Snowdon from the train' one to replace it.

The Tour of Britain race stage passed over the Pen Y Pass and down into Llanberis and i was above it
Pyg Track or maybe Crib Goch ascent next time..
Mrs Mhor can catch the train.
(It's a doddle of a hill)
Uncle Ben is now banned from Mhor Towers
I had something similar happen last week. A low flying packet of Sweet n Sour Mug Shot hit my GLC London Marathon 1983 mug and it broke into about 7 bits. That mug had made it to last Tuesday without so much as a chip. It had lived through numerous house moves and all sorts. I found myself a bit weepy.A very sad thing happened as I did..
My treasured 'I climbed Snowdon' mug got clobbered by a flying packet of Uncle Ben's rice and then lay shattered in pieces all over the floor, devastation then a depressing fug set in....
It was my goto mug....
Nobody even got to clean it..
I've had to get my 'I climbed Scafell Pike' mug in service..
Devastated I am...
My kitchen isn't even a whole room, let alone having a whole one for my stuff!
I have to go to attend to some energy renewal time, already put off my Dad who offered to take me view the TOB tomorrow because it's been a worse day today than recently... trouble with this MS is I might be feeling like leaping tall buildings tomorrow instead, just don't know. Have fun all
It's nice that you say MY kitchen. My kitchen is tiny, that's why I needed another room to put everything into.
It's nice that you say MY kitchen.
Were you the only spectators there?Evening All
Beautiful all day, loads of sun, blue skies, and 78 miles to and from Broadway to see the Tour Of Britain. We rode up Snows Hill past the KOM and pitched up about half a mile further down the road. There seemed to be '000's everywhere. First the break came through with the main peloton a good 5 minutes behind. Cracking day out, then back to a cafe for coffee and cake.
