We had an unexpected afternoon off when a grooming customer gave us an hour's notice that they were going shopping instead of being in for the groom that they were so desperate for me to do for them just yesterday.
We decided, that as the sun was shining and that Gt Yarmouth is a hell hole on a weekend, that we would take the afternoon and beetle off to Gt Yarmouth as Hubster has never been on the proper, wooden roller coaster there. We've been near it but out of season. Today was the first day of 'off peak' season so the wristbands were £17 each instead of £19.50 each. Our walking was done and dusted by 12.30pm today so we went. Cycle to work (or at least between jobs) is on hold today. We had a blast and had so much fun that we really got our moneys worth by going on lots of rides and used the equivalent of £34 worth of rides each.

We have cups of tea now and are knackered.
Oh, the Waltzers were just as much fun as I remembered. Felt a bit sick when we got off though, it must have been the cuppa that we had just before it.
There's a place on the front at Great Yarmouth called something like Yesterdays or Bygones, a museum of days gone by, they've got an old fairground carousel with the geegees that go up and down, and you can have a ride on it.

It's £6.95 each to get in there and the Pleasure Beach has had the same old fashioned ride, in the same place for over 50 years. With a wristband it's free
We went past Bygones on our way to hunt down some lunch.
