The devon woman has decided that Wymondham is way way way too far away from Norwich to be able to live here and get a job so she has decided that swapping is not to be.
Wymondham is 9 miles from Norwich, or 20 minutes down the A11. I work in Norwich and manage to commute daily. She wants City Centre or forget it.
However, I have been offered an interesting proposition elsewhere so staying in Norwich is just fine and dandy. We are going to look at a 1 bed flat about 1.5 miles from the City Centre on Sunday. The chap is desperate to move as his ex wife has moved in 4 doors down with her new husband.

I miss the area.
I used to commute on a little 90cc moped from near Acle to Little Plumstead, where I worked.
Loved Norwich - my first born was born at the Norfolk & Norwich hospital

Just had a chat with another potential swappee. Just around the corner from the one we are going to visit on Sunday. We are going viewing tomorrow for that one.

Did you work at the hospital at Little Plumstead @ScotiaLass ? Acle is nice, we cycle that way from time to time.

Evening peeps. . I've had a busy day today. Hope everyone has had a good day with much slurpping of tea/coffee and munching of cake.

i see the inuendos have been out in force today as usual. And hattie jaques was not a nice lady. She made her husbands life misery. Never mind. Whats all this about nuts and spanners?

That docu-drama about her was an eye opener. Having husband banished to the spare room while she and her live in lover made whoopee in the main bedroom!! I should think that he was a bit more narked off than he ever said. I always thought that it was a very mean thing to do.

Yes, I worked at the hospital there and we lived in Freethorpe.
I didn't want to move but promotion meant we moved to Manchester for a year and then to London for 10 years.

Lived in Whittaker Lane, Prestwick, and worked agency at the time as I had just had my second child, mainly at the North Manchester General in Crumpsall.

Freethorpe is nice. Not surprised that you didn't want to move. Are you a Scot by birth?
