Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
I went into habitat once, many hundreds of years ago, and I could see everyone buying exactly the same things. I could imagine ten million households in the UK all having exactly the same coffe pots, cutlery, sofas, cushions, rugs and hundreds of other useless stuff, and vowed I would never set foot in another shop like that and I haven't. Thank god.

I don't think I've missed out on anything either.

I love IKEA. The meatballs are gorgeous, as is the lingonberry jam. I actually went for some new bed linen and got a nice set. Our flat has no lampshades in. We've only been here since May 2013 and thought that we had better get some while we were there. They were only a couple of quid each so good value. We like their graters as they have a lid so you can keep the grated cheese/veg whatever fresh. Our one goes from caravan to flat to caravan and back again and we keep wondering where it is. For £1.50 we have one for each now. We don't have 'home by ikea' at all but like some of the ideas that they have. Most of the stuff we have in our home was free or from the charity shop (2 sofas and change from £20 sort of thing)
Ikea is good value. Our nearest is bloomin' miles away but we wanted to give that new Saab a really good run before committing to it.

Evening all, I see there's progress in the case of the basket...
Once again @172traindriver makes my 35 mile ride look puny...:surrender: (How was your climbing, mine was 2250ft?)
And classic has three hours sleep in a day whereas I would call that an afternoon nap...
Coffee. :cuppa:

@IanDuke the Garmin claims that I did about 2,000 feet of climbing which I won't argue with, so you were on a ride with more lumps

I have never been in a habitat shop. I don't think that we have one here.
