Ah, you need bigger needles for that so that you get one bobble per stitch. Try a 5, that worked well for me when I made my purple bobbley scarf.

I have been to clinic this morning for my annual MOT. Peeing into some stupid little tube is not that easy. It's OK for men, they have a bit of directionality (allegedly) but us girlies find it a little less easy. There is nothing horrible going on in it so that's OK then. She took a gallon or two of blood and said that my BP was 112/62 which is rather lovely.
Being carless still, we cycled there and back and I discovered, quite quickly, that I should have had my zippy top on rather than just my long sleeved Lidl jersey. I was bloody freezing. I believe that it was even colder on the way back.
I'll plug my Garmin in soon but drinking tea and stuffing lovely warm Mediterranean bulger wheat salad and left over pork bits is taking precedence at the moment. My hands are still cold and we've been in an hour.
