A good suggestion. I researched that, though, and the local "social" cycling club (Cheltenham) goes out on Thursdays. I'm not in a position to do a hostile takeover and change their policy on that.

Facebook is a good way of staying in touch with old friends. I keep in touch with a lot of my friends that I worked wth.
