When Daylight Savings finishes in the UK and starts here, then it will be 11 hours difference.

Surprise, surprise, my wife has ordered me a new laptop. She is dragging me kicking and screaming into the 21st century with a latest model one with touch screen etc. We will both have new toys to play with. Enjoy yours.

Touch screen 'll send you nuts. I bust the one where I worked within a week of it being delivered and set up.
Heavy handed on something that didn't want to co-operate.

Seem to have missed all the fun tonight. I was down the pub with the local cycle club, planning this Sunday's ride - or that's what they seem to tell their wives. They are talking about going up something called "The Wall" this week. Not sure what I have signed up for.

Hmmmm .... and I have fingers like saveloys, too. Usually have trouble accidentally hitting two keys at once, and I pound the **** out of every keyboard I'm given to use at work.

You get used to it.

Predictive text is my real pet hate. That would go into Rom 101. I remember the first text message I ever sent. My mate was a bit late picking me up for a football match and texted to say where to meet him. I tried to say the simplest thing possible, i.e. "OK". It came out as "non". Not only nothing like what I wanted to say, but in fact the exact opposite, and in a different language too.
