Good Afternoon all, paint mission accomplished, chinese cooking supplies also bought in the city centre then quickly left there before I became affected by my concrete aversion syndrome... Now home in my lovely front room contemplating if I go for the full forty winks or just twenty...:cuppa:

We did a tour of South Devon looking at possible places to purchase last week @Saluki, favouring Brixham for historical reasons at present but all along the Dart estuary there are plenty of lovely places too. You'll need climbing legs on compared to Norfolk though!

I know it'll be a whole lot hillier but I'll just have to learn to love hills. Kingsbridge is where the potential swap would be.

Morning Bob and mikey, enjoy Brixham @the_mikey, looks like that's where we're going when MrsD retires, she grew up and went to school there (we got married at Berry Head recently too).
Typically the weather is looking bloody brilliant today, I cycled yesterday thinking it was my last chance this week due to travelling to see in-laws but MrsD informs me that we have a shopping for paint day today and journeying tomorrow... My cup runneth over, I am so happy... not.
First though...:cuppa:

I passed Berry Head after taking a wrong turn out of Brixham marina this afternoon!

Tme for tea :cuppa:

Ahh, wrong way at the roundabout... easily done! Most of our wedding guests ended up having done a tour of the town before arriving..

Books?
I'm reading three different ones,
a book on the codebreakers of Bletchley Park, a Ranulph Fiennes and having a re read of a Patrick McGill who actually worked building the railway on which our local track replaced(and we did some good cutting/clearing work on a stretch of it today).
We all have our own TV setups here...I couldn't watch what Mrs Mhor watches and she says not cycling or baseball again:whistle:

and a good evening to all those Tealandians who are out there:hello:

Funnily enough I'm on Scottish authors at the moment, the fiction of both Banks and Rankin..and some American stuff from Cormac MacCarthy whose name has a certain ring to it...
Iain Banks was in my year at school as was his pal, Ken McLeod who I do remember..but his books do not appeal to me..
oh and Ian Rankin who wants to be be on the Jonathan Ross show (his words)
I wasted school...my kids are making up for me:thumbsup:
fact only, fiction very rarely...
