I've done most of the big hills near me (and gone back to make sure)..
the granny gears for them
I came along the Georgetown straights yesterday into a strong breeze, 18st isn't very aerodynamic...
Some wag out with his club run shouted 'Keep pumping those pedals big man you'll get there'
He was gone before I mouthed my reply..two words
then I got burnt off by a woman on the cycle track (I do just doddle though)..

Hey, you're out there cranking the pedals....I often think I must look like a right sight for sore eyes, but to be honest, I couldn't care less!
I'm getting fitter, losing weight and at the end of the day, it isn't a race. Enjoyment is the key factor for me.

Good morning peeps. I've finally fell out of bed. I can't remember the last time I was this late getting up. I must have been more tired than I thought

It's hissing down here . Its been raining most of the night althougn it was soft rain to start with. Its a day of relaxing, reading, watching tv. I have some films i want to watch.

We've got some blackberries and looking for a cordial recipe for them at present, son and I did our first pick of the year while walking the dog in the orchard last evening, about 2lb yield from the one small field and many scratch marks to show off when he goes home later.

Hope your day is not too stormy everyone, I'm contemplating doing the dog now before it gets too waterproof trousers and horizontal gale force later...

Hi Bob, big Bertha is making her presence felt here so its a case of watching the rain
Fortunately we tend to keep an eye on the weather, so a few of us got a fair long ride in yesterday being aware of what was predicted today.
