Well, my father in law, obviously...........although I left my ignore list unaltered, this time, because too many structural voids would have left the concrete a bit weak for some of the machines it is designed to carry. There will be a big patio, though........

Exactly. My very point. Which is why I have limited the number under this particular slab. A mouse ran under the DPM a few minutes before we started casting concrete. I hope it managed to find a way out.

Mouse ain't that much. The weight of the concrete will have flattened it anyway.

I'm bothered for the mouse's sake, not the concrete's sake. The void formed by the decaying of the FIL is covered by some additional re-inforcement, of course.

When your concrete is delivered 3 hours late, one should be extremely grateful to finish power-floating at 10 O'clock at night. I really don't understand why none of you lazy buggers didn't come and give me a hand........
