Yesterday I had a grumpy day (back was nagging me) & I was vexed at the carrots & potatoes I was peeling for hotpot.

I had a senior moment & truly questioned why you can't get easy peelers carrots & tatties like you can oranges.

My uncle used to live near-ish, well, in Victoria State anyway but has retired to Gold Coast.

He is due a U.K visit, if it happens, as both he & Aunt are not of great health these days, so I will get a reminder of exactly where he lived.

The easy way is to not bother peeling either. Just top & tail the carrots.
