Just think of what you missed though.
I already have a pretty good idea what it would have been like. As I had the bike on the roof, making mine the tallest vehicle on the ferry, I had to wait until last to drive on. The ship was full of Porsches, TVRs, Caterham 7s, and other assorted sports cars. The closer we got to boarding, the bigger the crowd of petrol-heads had gathered on deck at the back of the ship to watch the classic cars embarking. Huge cheers went up every time some nobber revved his Ferrari or Maserati a bit louder than the last car on the on-ramp. By the time I hit the ramp, there was a huge and raucous crowd, and the load master made me turn round and reverse onboard to an audience who probably already held me in contempt for driving a hybrid and owning a bike. "Just don't screw up" was all I could think .... before I screwed up. Loud jeers and whistles ensued. Fortunately it turned out they were heckling one of their mates who was running to get on board after his car had to be towed on.
