Back from a bike ride. Bugger tea, I need wine and possibly a chicken kung po. I am absolutely shattered.
Lager is your friend here.
As long as you don't go for a strong one it'll have roughly the same calories as the wine, plus it will quench your thirst and gas you up so you don't need as much food.

I use a Garmin Edge Touring dodah thingy that sits on my bike stem and then I plug it in to my laptop when I get in.

I'm assuming you upload to Garmin Connect?
I prefer Endomondo for getting maps of rides...but you can upload your Garmin to there....

I will go and log in to endomondo and have a good old look-see then. Can I then take the maps from Endomondo and post them on the forum?
