2-1. Well, that's that for another 4 years. Just goes to show ..... you can't just sit on your arse living vicariously through others on the telly. Gotta get out there and make your own entertainment in life. Can't wait to get away to France with my bike and hit those hills. London-Brighton overnight coming up too. Bring it on.

Hello, non-football tea-people. I've just got in from smashing by PB on the local 10 mile TT course. Knocked 41 seconds off.

That sounds good until you hear that my time was 29 something......... Not exactly world-beating. ;) Is there anything happening tonight?

It's Friday! :wahhey: I have a busy Saturday ahead of me, with trips to
  • post office to pick up a cycling-related parcel.
  • local bike shop to stock up on my preferred tubes, one of the few items I don't buy online.
  • not-so-local bike shop to pick up a newly-assembed pair of wheels. I keep meaning to build my own, but just ran out of time for these, and my bike will need them shortly.
  • grocery shopping when I can fit it in.
