Just been looking at tyres for the 29er.....found some I like the look of but they are 29 x 1.75's and I currently run 29 x 2's.
Will the size difference be okay? (sorry for the stupid girly question!)

Bit skinny for MTB, will roll faster on tarmac or hard pack ground, canal tow paths etc, not so good in the clag though maybe.

anyway welshy, it was good & many child hours were spent with that man doll (only last Tuesday) - (when I lost my teeth) but it sometimes failed & landed with a thwack on the flags

Years ago, the fashion was to run fat on the front, and skinny at the back. Something to do with cornering grip at the front, and cutting through mud at the back. Maybe things have moved on since then
