Hi all.
I was considering a ride today as it was dry but overcast and cold. Then the bursitis in my right hip decided it would try and kill me....so that was the end of that idea.
Instead I've got mostly tided up in the front room, ready for the tree tomorrow. I'll do that after I come back from a two hour Tai Chi class

That sounds good, finished for your holidays, will that take you past Christmas hopefully and into the new year, :wahhey:
You might have some time to do a bit of bike riding :bicycle: if the weather isn't too bleak.
After the miserable and wet start I managed to get out just after 13:00 for 35 miles and it wasn't too bad, the sun came out and there was also some blue sky. It felt cold and the wind was quite cold. The temperatures are predicted to fall below zero tonight, and with the amount of standing water and water running off the fields into the lanes they could be quite dangerous tomorrow.
I passed a local ford on my ride which was quite high as you can see from the pictures I am attaching. You have to remember it is probably at least 2 or 3 feet deeper in the middle at its lowest point, yet people regularly attempt to cross despite all the warning signs. It seems to be a bit of a tradition amongst local cyclists to photograph the stranded vehicles and put the pictures on various websites.
You just can't understand some people.
