My half an hour lesson has now moved to 1.15 to 4.45 or so. There might be some wwww chat thrown in for good measure.

Where is all this snow that everyone is on about? We have no snow here. It's a bit cold but that's all. It's just a boring grey day here. I have time now to cycle in to my guitar lesson.

Very funny @stephec as usual. @172traindriver yes it was horrible here last night. But we have sun now thank god. My garage is flooded though. Its right beside the stream and if the water gets to high it floods the back of my garage and runs the whole length of it and out through the doors. Theres lots of water running down the lane as there is so much water on the hills and the ground can't take any more, so its running off the hills and down the road. The river dovey is overflowing, as is the river glantwymyn as well, and I have no doubt that the river severn will be ovefflowing in places near Newtown.

Yep. The house is around 70 feet higher than the drive and garage. At least my house won't flood

We're used to it flooding and move everything of value off the ground .

Having a quick cuppa before my 30 minute lesson.

I am thinking of selling my Defy 2 (2011) bike and putting the money towards a CX bike. I will give it a good old polish tonight and put it up on Gumtree and see if anyone is interested in a second hand bike for a Christmas pressie. If it sell, fine and I will look for a CX in the sales. If not that's fine too.
