We have been watching some track cycling. Our National Anthem is so dreary compared to other countries, they win-their anthem is joyous, we win-dreary

It's not dreary, it's rousing and where is your sense of pride in it. People weren't moaning at the Olympics when the Union flag was rising and the anthem was belting out. It should make you proud. There are about 4 or 5 national anthems that spring to mind, our being one of them along with the USA, Germany and France.

Might be hard if you're finding it cold already!

I'm adaptable Mr C, I keep riding through the winter, but admit to liking warmer weather, and can't wait till my next trip to Mallorca in March

My weekend was ok, no really bad weather, just a bit of a chilly breeze yesterday, clear skies today, perfect sunset and moonrise on the way home.
