That's an expensive detour. The wind is up tonight but it's still dry.
Hubby just called to say he got to Skye safely (after a detour to a camera shop to pick up a wide angle lens for my Mamiya medium format camera, which he is using). It's a bit drizzly up there but he is snug in his teepee - complete with a microwave etc!
He does have the camping gear with him just incase he needs it as he tours about, as everything there is winding down now.
It wasn't far out his way and he traded in some old stuff for this lens (it's second hand) so only cost him about £30.That's an expensive detour.
Is he on a commission up there?

Let it all out. Then have your cuppa, you don't want to spoil your cuppa!
One of the reasons that I really really need to stop grooming. It was a 4 dog day today. First 3 were fab - all in one house. The last one was a Cavalier KC Spaniel and a bit leany so it put undue pressure on my wrist.Hope you feel better soon @Saluki
Evening all.
What, no bending of the knees tonight!
They weren't the cheapest, and they take nine hours to get there. A stop-over on the way.

I just love my guitar teacher (in a platonic way, not in a creepy cougar sort of way).
Be careful what you wish forUnlucky for him then, I bet he'd love to see your claws.
That's not the first time I've heard that.Be careful what you wish for
Just 2.Thought you were three hours in front?
