What you doing freezing the water? A lot easier drink in liquid form!We can drink the local water ok, but it's very hard water and we prefer the bottled variety most of the time.

Don't ask for ice tea...
Ha ha, so close to the truth! We actually keep a bottle in the freezer so Mrs B can use it as an ice pack when she gets too hot or burns herself in the sun - she sunbathes and I just sit in the shade and gaze lovingly upon her beauty
We like ice tea, but boy is it loaded with cals.
A lot of ex-pats use the filters and we may do the same when we stay for longer- which may be from next year.It varies around the world I suppose... can you get one of them Brita things, does that change it enough? I have a jug in the fridge, tastes better than straight out the tap.

Know how you feel. One of our adopted cats arrived with a piece of cr ap stuck to its pampas grass like tail so I decided to try to help out as it was obviously being annoyed by its new appendage. One pair of shredded gloves and a cut hand later I was in the bathroom washing my wounds
