Had word back from my siblings, Mam has come through her Op just fine, no complications.

4 1/2 hours to remove her entire large bowel & "out of it" is how she has been described.

Never known her to be so poorly or to need such a big Op or be in the hospital so often (not since I was too young to understand anyway).

Everything should start to get a little better for her now.

Fingers crossed.

I haven't seen a small plastic doll since I retrieved half a Sylvanian family figure from Tom the dog's mouth and my daughter, 6 at the time, bawled her eyes out because it was her favourite character. It was the first time she'd stayed at Daddies new house and met Daddies new partner...

I have a new laptop. I might be off for a while while I get to grips with setting everything up on it. That bloody windows 8.1 thing can go and live in a box until it's needed for my accounts. Stupid thing.

This is why I recommended a Chromebook for my parents, I was getting cries for help when they had a full 8.1 so much I think there was a groove in the roads. Nothing since they bought the new thing, nothing for them to really get wrong.
